Love

What does love look like? It has the hands to help others. It has the feet to hasten to the poor and needy. It has eyes to see misery and want. It has the ears to hear the sighs and sorrows of men. That is what love looks like.
-Saint Augustine

Accustom yourself continually to make many acts of love, for they enkindle and melt the soul. -Saint Teresa

All that we do is a means to an end, but love is an end in itself, because God is love.
-Saint Edith Stein

Without love, deeds, even the most brilliant, count as nothing.
-Saint Therese

Lord, grant that I might not so much seek to be loved as to love.
-Saint Francis of Assisi

It is here, my daughters, that love is to be found - not hidden away in corners but in the midst of occasions of sin. And believe me, although we may more often fail and commit small lapses, our gain will be incomparably the greater.
-Saint Teresa of Avila

Love is not to be purchased, and affection has no price.
-Saint Jerome

Beautiful Cy. We recent listened to AB F. Sheen speak of the three kinds of love and how modern society corrupted the meaning of one of those loves Eros. The original Greek meaning was more romantic. And the others you know, Agape and brotherly love but I'm not sure of the spelling :-)
A Very Merry Christmas to you and your family,
Aunty Ether
