Feast of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus

Picture taken by Mom. Part of a stained glass window in our parish! Sometimes if the sun is shining, the they seem as if they were glowing.

Prince Caspian

Picture from here!
Two cents :-)
Well, I wasn't really expecting much from it since many other movies are not that great. Haha, that said...It was one of the best movies I've seen in a looong while!!!
Though they didn't stick too closely to the book, they made it so that it seemed as if the characters had grown up since their last visit to Narnia. (which actually they had! they were adults before)
Prince Caspian himself looked too old, but once the movie progressed some, it didn't matter.
Character develpment was hard to spot. Careful hints were here and there, but one would really have needed to watch the previous movie and read the book to really get at it.
...and if you listen carefully, you can hear what a great job the composer did for the movie! Some of the scenes you, could tell, had some parts of the music from the LWW. :-D
Hope you get to watch it soon!
(and if you've already seen it, what did you think?)
:-)

"Welcome, Prince," said Aslan. "Do you feel yourself sufficient to take up the Kingship of Narnia?"
<"I — I don't think I do, Sir," said Caspian. "I'm only a kid."
"Good," said Aslan. "If you had felt yourself sufficient, it would have been a proof that you were not. ..."

Adventure

There was a storm here some days ago and it was not so bad, but it was hard enough that the electricity went out. Well, shrieks came and a flashlight was found. Quite unperturbed, the flashlight's radio was turned on. More flashlights were uncovered, and we put on a twirling light show. We started searching for some news on the radio but ended up dancing and singing to one of the songs instead! We hadn't eaten dinner yet, and unfortunately dinner was accidentally left inside the microwave unheated. Chili is as good even though it's not heated, but best of all was dessert: ice cream!!! Haha, we had to eat it so it wouldn't get melted. I've forgotten what we did after that. When the electricity at night goes out it's usually pretty dark, but we turned it into an adventure!

Feast Day!!

Picture from the Patron Saints Index
Happy Feast of Blessed Damian!! :-D

One of our two Blesseds here, so his feast day is celebrated especially!
Click here for information about him!
...and some stories from the Herald can be found here too!
CT has a post and video here

Some of the best things about Blessed Damian, is that he helped when no others dared, aided when no one thought it worth the time, stubbornly went on when it seemed impossible, and through all that was able to bring hope to the hopeless.

All the World

(found this video on Google...so..)

Here are the lyrics from the cover :-D

All the World
Point of Grace

All the world is a story
All the world is a stage
All the world is a canvas
All the world is a stage

All the world is a horizon
All the world is a field of dreams
All the world is an open doorway
All the world is a place for me

To be your voice, to be your touch
To give an answer, to show Your love
To hold out hope, to offer peace
To shine Your light for everyone to see
In all the world

All the world is a someone
All the world is a dance
All the world is a moment
All the world is a chance

To be your voice, to be your touch
To give an answer, to show Your love
To hold out hope, to offer peace
To shine Your light for everyone to see
In all the world

You are amazing mercy, You are undying grace
I want the world to see how wonderful You are upon my face

To be your voice, to be your touch
To give an answer, to show Your love
To hold out hope, to offer peace
To shine Your light for everyone to see
In all the world

Father's homily was very nice!
"Ite missa est" means "It is sent".
"But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria and to the end of the earth." - Acts 1:8
