O Holy Night

One of my favorite carols...

"Be not afraid to tell Jesus that you love Him; even though it be without feeling, this is the way to oblige Him to help you, and carry you like a little child too feeble to walk" -Saint Therese

Caroling meme

Found this on Aunty Esther's blog!

Sunny loves singing too!

1. Love 'em, hate 'em, tolerate 'em, or...?
Love 'em!!!

2. Policy: none before Christmas, none before Thanksgiving, or...?
Well, usually it's hard to keep off playing them, especially since we have to practice them for Christmas Mass, a recital, or some other time in December.

3. Favorite? Favorites, if you've got more than one?
The First Nowell, Gesu Bambino, O Holy Night, O Come O Come, Lo How a Rose, Angels We Have Heard on High...I'd probably fill up the whole post!!! :-D

4. Least favorite? Drives you batty/hate it/turn it off if it comes on the radio?
We Wish You a Merry Christmas. (sorry to anyone who likes it)

5. Caroling door to door in neighborhood? Ever done it/would do it? Wouldn't even consider it?
Oh!! Take me along!!!

6. Funniest kids' rendition, if any?
Don't know any

7. Most inappropriate carol ever heard in a church setting (Catholic or otherwise)?
none

8. The one foreign language carol I know (or know best) is...?
Feliz Navidad
It's probably the only one I know

9. Carol that perplexes you the most?
Not the song itself, but the title...why is it sometimes "Noel" or "Nowell"?

10. Carol your whole family will sing?
Ask us to sing any we know :-D

I tag anyone who likes music!!

Mahalo, Kaila!

The Prince of Peace Award

For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given; and the government shall be on His shoulder; and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Isaiah 9:6

In a world that seems to thrive on war and violence, it is indeed a blessing to have bloggers who share their faith and love of God with others.

These blogs are passionate about their faith, are a voice for the voiceless, are sources of inspiration, hope and true kindness, they are an oasis where a weary spirit can stop for a while and rest and be refreshed.

Every act of love no matter how small is a work of peace and these bloggers go above and beyond the call to reach out to others. They bring The Prince of Peace to us; we enter as visitors and fellow bloggers and leave as friends.

At this time when we celebrate the birth of our Savior, we thank you, our friends, for all you do to make the spirit of the The Prince of Peace ever more present in our lives, not only at this time but everyday.

Please accept and share this Award with Christian bloggers who bring The Prince of Peace to others.
