Saint Maria’s Messenger Game Challenge
Do you have an original game that you play with your friends or siblings or have played in the past? Was it a board game that you made up yourselves? Or was it a game you acted out? Was it some sort of competition between each other? Or maybe it was something totally different? We are looking for the most IMAGINATIVE AND CREATIVE games. We will choose our favorites and feature them in our next issue!
All Catholic girls ages ten through teen are able to participate. We will choose the winners and feature their game(s) in our next issue! We can’t wait to see them!
We need a description of your game, how it came to be, a little bit about yourself including your name and age, and contact information including address and email. Please send everything to:

1. I love to read!!! Especially fantasy and adventure books. Yet I've never read a single book, chapter, page, or paragraph of Harry Potter. And I never shall.

2. I don't really like movies. Guess it's because reading books and making up my own movie along the way works better.

3. My friends say I'm quiet, and they're right. I post a gazillion posts in the forum, but don't talk much when not on the computer. Too absent minded I suppose! :-)

4. Uh... does not having a cell phone count? Maybe it's not weird to a homeschooling kid, but to anyone else, they say it's an essential. I don't need one!

5. Umm...Oh, I can tie a cherry stem in a knot in my mouth!

6. One last....
I read almanacs and encyclopedias for fun! Don't know why, but reading millions of extra facts is facinating! It comes in handy too!

1. What is your favorite Sorrowful Mystery?
Jesus carries the Cross. It helps me carry my crosses.

2. What is your favorite Station of the Cross?
The 5th and 6th. To me it's a reminder to always help others.

3. Do you fast during Lent?
No, I'm not 18 yet. Days of abstinence are observed though.

4. What is your Lenten Resolution(s)?
Computer once a week, and to read more saint or spiritual books and less fantasy, Sci-fi, adventure ones.

5. Do you use Holy Water during Lent?
No.

6. How many times do you go to Mass during Lent?
We go to Daily Mass, actually.

...Oh, did I mention?

Two of the four eggs hatched!! The baby birds look like pink fluff balls, hardly bigger than a quarter when curled up! I'm afraid to take a picture of them though, the flash doesn't want to turn off. Guess the "eggcellent updates" won't work anymore! :-)

Egg update, a little old though, Lilo has four eggs now, I think that's all she'll have.

Lovebirds are really playful and colorful, but also very, very loud.

They love to chirp the day away, even in their sleep!
